Welcome to Arc. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Arc mobile application ("App") operated by Arc ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Arc, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Arc is an AI-powered personal development application. Key features include:

  • AI-powered journaling with automatic skill extraction
  • Gamified XP system where journals, habits, and workouts earn experience points
  • Daily wellness insights and weekly AI-generated summaries
  • Habit tracking with streak monitoring and smart reminders
  • Fitness logging with exercises, sets, reps, and personal records
  • Finance management with bill and income tracking

The App is available on iOS and Android platforms.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Free Features

Arc offers basic features at no cost. Some features require a premium subscription.

4.2 Premium Subscriptions

We offer the following subscription options:

  • Monthly: $9.99/month with 7-day free trial
  • Yearly: $99.99/year with 7-day free trial
  • Lifetime: $299.99 one-time purchase

4.3 Billing

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment will be charged to your account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.

4.5 Free Trials

Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends. You will be charged the subscription price unless you cancel before the trial period expires.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in the App (habits, journal entries, etc.). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the App
  • Share your account with others
  • Use the App to harm or harass others

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Arc and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

10. Health and Financial Disclaimer

Arc is a personal development tracking tool with AI-powered insights. It does not provide medical, fitness, or financial advice. The AI-generated insights, suggestions, and wellness analysis are for informational purposes only. Always consult qualified professionals before making health or financial decisions. We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on information or AI suggestions in the App.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom.
